Tenuta Bossi, owned by the Gondi family since 1592, has always been famous for its wine. Located in the wooded hills northeast of Florence, in the heart of Chianti Rufina, a wine-growing area famous since the time of the Etruscans. This gem is located in a vineyard valley, among the hills 18 km from Florence, between 200 and 400 meters above sea level. The estate extends for 315 hectares of which 19 hectares are vineyards and 32 are olive groves, as well as cereals and woods. The majestic Renaissance villa, which dominates the valley with its monumental park and cellars, has been restored and modified in the centuries following its purchase. Next to the villa, a church with three altars was built by Antonino Gondi.
